Ukraine to Open Its Lighthouses Up for Excursions
The Ministry of Infrastructure said that its gotten many requests to open lighthouses up for visitors
Lighthouses in Ukraine will now be open for excursions.
Lighthouses don’t just help with navigation. They are also a part of the cultural and historical heritage of Ukraine, Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krikliy said.
The Ministry of Infrastructure said that its gotten many requests to open lighthouses up for visitors.
Now the Vorontsovsky lighthouse in Odesa, the Siversov front lighthouse in Nikolaev, and the Genichesky and Stanislav-Adzhigolsky back lighthouses in the Kherson region are open for visitors.
“Subsequently, we plan to expand this list,” the ministry said.
