1,300 new cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine; 1,019 people were hospitalized
On May 23, 1,334 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine. In particular, 86 children and 21 medical workers fell ill.

During the past 24 hours, 1,019 people were hospitalized and 6,999 recovered. 68 people died. 16,097 tests were made during the day, including 8,684 PCR, 1,462 ELISA, and 5,951 express-tests for SARS-CoV-2 antigen.
The largest numbers of cases of COVID-19 were registered in Dnipropetrovsk (190), Mykolaiv (151), Kyiv (125), Kharkiv (101) and Kyiv (75) regions.
During the pandemic, 2,183,855 Ukrainians fell ill, while 1,957,560 – recovered. 49,436 died. 10,022,457 PCR tests were made.
Besides, earlier 122 000 doses of Pfizer vaccine were delivered to Ukraine.
