A batch of Comirnaty / Pfizer vaccine was delivered to Ukraine

117,000 doses of Comirnaty vaccine against COVID-19 produced by Pfizer-BioNTech arrived to Ukraine.

 UATV informs it with reference to the Ministry of Health.

 This is the first batch of the vaccine, which is purchased at public expense through the international agency Crown Agents. 167,310 doses of this drug will be delivered to the country by the end of this week.

 The vaccine from this batch will be used to vaccinate educational workers (additional need), people from the first and second stages, in particular doctors (not previously vaccinated), military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, employees of state security structures, representatives of foreign diplomatic institutions in Ukraine.

 Over the past day, more than 3000 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Ukraine, most of them – in Kyiv.
