Ukraine is the “green” quarantine zone according to EU criteria
All regions of Ukraine are in the “green” zone in terms of coronavirus disease COVID-19, which reached the lowest figures.
This was discussed at a conference call chaired by President Volodymyr Zelensky, informs the Office of the President.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, 420 new patients with COVID-19 have been registered over the past 24 hours. This is the lowest number since the beginning of the year.
“All regions of Ukraine are in the green zone. In accordance with the criteria of the European Union, Ukraine is in the green zone. There is an indicator of 74.71 cases per 100,000 persons, while the EU criterion is 75 cases per 100,000 persons”, – Shmyhal noted.
The head of government said that more than 1,479,000 citizens received the first dose of vaccine against COVID-19, and more than 238,000 – two doses. Over the past weekend, 57,000 Ukrainian were vaccinated. More than 50 vaccination centers were opened.
According to the Prime Minister, Ukraine has received 4,850,000 doses of vaccines.
