EU will increase Ukraine’s resilience in the face of the strategic challenge from the Russian Federation, – Maros Sefcovic
The European Union must remain united in the face of the global challenge posed by the Russian Federation, and in this context increase the stability of Ukraine and the entire Eastern Partnership.
Vice-President of the European Commission Maros Sefcovic said this at a press conference following the EU Council of Ministers for General Affairs, Ukrinform reports.
“Concerning Russia – we stressed the need to maintain unity in the face of this strategic challenge. We should increase the resilience of Ukraine and other eastern partners”, – he said.
Dmytro Kuleba called on Ukraine’s international partners to increase pressure on the Russian Federation, and said that the Russian Federation could carry out a “creeping annexation” of the Sea of Azov.
