Ukrainian Export Grows by 6 Percent
In the first half of 2019, the exports of goods and services from Ukraine totaled $29.5 billion, up 5.9 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
“In the first half of 2019, the exports of Ukrainian goods and services totaled $29.54 billion, or 105.9 percent compared to the first year-half of 2018, while the imports totaled $31.16 billion or 107.9 percent,” the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported, Ukrinform reported.
In January-June 2019, the exports of goods from Ukraine totaled about $24.47 billion (up 5.2 percent compared to January-June 2018), including $10.28 billion to the EU countries. The imports of goods to Ukraine in the first half of 2019 reached $28.2 billion (up 8.5 percent), including $11.8 billion from EU countries.
