Ukrainian Paralympian Table Tennis Team Win Five Medals
The International Paralympic Table Tennis Tournament was attended by 448 athletes from 46 countries

The Ukrainian team won five medals at the International Paralympic Table Tennis tournament, on May 7-11 in Lashko, Slovenia.
Ukrainian athletes took 2.5 gold positions, 1 silver, and 1.5 bronze, the National Committee of Sports of the Disabled wrote.
In personal competitions, Marina Lytovchenko and Viktor Didukh won two gold positions. In team competitions, Lytovchenko with her Romanian counterpart took gold. Half “medals” were credited to Ukraine’s team ranking. Also, Maxim Nikolenko, Viktor Didukh and Ivan Mai won silver. Vasyl Petruniv and Olexander Yezik got bronze. Natalya Kosmina also won bronze in a mixed team with a representative of another country.
“This is a worthy victory because in terms of the number of professional participants the tournament was more difficult than the world championship: it was attended by 448 players from 46 countries,” the statement read.
