Yaremchuk Wins Gold at ‘Best Woman’ Race in Italy
The Ukrainian long-distance runner finished first with a time of 33 minutes, 11 seconds
Ukrainian long-distance runner Sophia Yaremchuk won gold racing in the Italian city of Fiumicino.
She took first in the 10-kilometer race with a time of 33 minutes and 11 seconds – significantly faster than all competitors, the Ukrainian Athletic Federation reported.
Italian runnder Fatna Maravi got second place with 33 minutes and 52 seconds. Third place went to Italian runnder Margherita Magniani, who had a time of 34 minutes and 2 seconds.
