Ukrainian Startup Fund to Start Accepting Applications
The Fund will provide financial assistance to select startups in Ukraine

Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk is scheduled to announce the start of a program for financing Ukrainian startups, according to the Government portal.
“On December 2, 2019, Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk will announce a program for financing Ukrainian startups,” reports Ukrinform.
The meeting on the launch of the program will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov; Finance Minister Oksana Markarova and Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Startup Fund Lesia Sevruk.
At the end of 2019, the first pitch event will take place. This would be a short presentation of business concepts to a tender committee. Based on the committee recommendations, startups will be selected to receive financial assistance.
The decision to launch the Fund grant program was made at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Startup Fund on November 27, 2019. The start date for accepting applications is December 2, 2019.
The Fund was established in July 2019. Since its launch, the grant program procedures were developed and a portal, usf.com.ua, for accepting applications was created.
