A Ukrainian Student Chamber Orchestra will soon perform in Belgium.
The students are from the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University in Kyiv.
Performances will be held in the Belgian provinces of Limburg and Namur, within the framework of the project, Ukraine in the European Space: Common Values of Education and Art. The project was initiated by the university to promote Ukrainian culture in European Union countries.
“For us, this is not an academic concert. This is a concert-lecture about the fact that we have a lot in common. To represent Ukraine not only in Brussels, but also in other Belgian regions is an important task for Ukrainian diplomacy,” said artistic director and conductor of the orchestra, professor Vasyl Fedoryshyn.
He said that the orchestra performed three years ago at the European Parliament in Brussels.

Among the practical results of the project implementation is the launch of international cooperation and cultural exchange of Ukrainian higher education institutions with European universities.
