Ukrtransgaz: Ukraine Imported 10.6B Cubic Meters of Gas in 2018

In 2018, Ukraine imported 10.6 billion cubic meters of gas, Ukrtransgaz reported on Facebook.
“Ukraine imported gas only from EU countries. Ukraine transported 61 percent from Slovakia, 32 percent from Hungary and 7 percent from Poland,” the company said.
Gas consumption in Ukraine increased by 0.4 percent compared to 2017 and amounted to 28.5 billion cubic meters.
Domestic gas production in Ukraine amounted to 20.9 billion cubic meters in 2018, which is 0.5 percent more than in 2017.
Ukraine pumped 9.8 billion cubic meters into underground gas storage facilities, which is 6.5 percent more than in 2017.
According to Ukrtransgas, Ukraine has not imported gas from Russia in 1,134 days or almost four years.
