New Wizz Air and Ryanair Flights Between Greece and Ukraine
Tickets for Ryanair flights to Kyiv are now available online
The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority approved applications for low-cost airlines Wizz Air and Ryanair flights to Ukraine.
Wizz Air can start running flights on Airbus A320 planes with a frequency of up to two times a week on the Athens-Kyiv and Thessaloniki-Kyiv routes from March 31, Avianews reported, with reference to Greek news portal Metaforespress reported.
The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority also agreed on Ryanair flights between Athens-Kyiv twice a week from April 2, on Boeing 737-800 planes.
Greek airline Astra Airlines can conduct flights between Athens and Kyiv on BAe 146 aircraft twice a week from March 31.
Only Ryanair has currently launched the sale of tickets for flights to Kyiv. The airline announced the opening of the Kyiv-Athens route last November.
