Yastremskaya Going to Two Semifinals in Strasbourg
The tournament ends on Saturday
Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya is going to two semifinals at the Internationaux de Strasbourg tennis tournament in France.
First, the Ukrainian beat the French athlete Fiona Ferro, in a match that lasted 65 minutes and ended with the score 6: 1, 6: 3, BTU reported.
In the semifinals, she will face the winner of the match between Arina Sobolenko of Belarus and Monica Puig of Puerto Rico.
Then, in doubles with Kazakh Galina Voskoboeva, the pair won with a score of 6: 3, 6: 4 against Japanese Miyu Kato and Australian Storm Sanders in a match that lasted 1 hour and 9 minutes.
For a place in the doubles final, Yastremskaya and Voskoboeva will fight against the Chinese duet of Duan Yingying and Han Xinyun.
The tournament, which has a $250,000 prize fund, ends Saturday.
