Zelenskyi Wins – Exit Poll
National exit poll: Zelenskyi - 73.2%, Poroshenko - 25.3%
Presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelenskyi won the election in accordance with the data of the National exit poll.
Zelenskyi won the presidency with 73.2 percent of the vote. His opponent, current president, Petro Poroshenko, received 25.3 percent. Another 1.5 percent of voting ballots were found to be invalid according to data available at 6 p.m. Kyiv time.
The exit-poll was taken by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology and the Ukrainian Centre for Economic and Political Studies named after Olexander Razumkov.
The exit poll’s general complex are voters who voted in polling stations in Ukraine. In total 13,686 respondents were interviewed at 300 polling stations.
